K-Ann International, Inc. was established by the Yamon - Kotake family in 1980 primary as a Japanese and English tutorial school to cater to individuals desirous of learning foreign languages and seeking translation services for Nihonngo. It also engaged in the rental business by leasing portions of the K-Ann building to various tenants for mixed occupancies such as law office, drugstore, travel agency, photocopying/school supplies dealer and others.
In 2010, K-Ann applied for registration at the Technical and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), the licensing arm of the government, for conversion into a technical-vocational school. The move was aimed at helping the students from low-income families within Cavite access to quality technical-vocational education at reasonably low tuition fees. That same year, K-Ann started its operations as a technical-vocational school after having completed and passed the TESDA requirements.
Four (4) courses were initially offered by the school namely: Health Care Services NCII; Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC I and II; Japanese Language Proficiency Course, and English Language Proficiency Course. Later, Information Technology and its allied courses were added.
Now on its sixth year as a school, K-Ann has graduated hundreds of students within Cavite and neighboring provinces including the National Capital Region. Majority of its successful graduates have sought employment and are now currently employed locally and overseas.
